Founded in 2000, the SVVSCC organizes a calendar of events that give members the opportunity to actively engage with others who have the same interests. The Club’s tenet is to preserve those earlier times when several car buffs would gather over a morning coffee to kick tires and then adjourn to a spirited afternoon drive through the countryside. We continue this tradition by providing a dynamic forum for the enjoyment of all vintage sports cars and sports-touring cars.
Ownership of a vintage sports car is not a requisite for membership. However, the Antique Automobile Club of America does require that you first join the AACA before applying for SVVSCC membership.
The SVVSCC Calendar includes club meetings, drives, tours, car shows, vintage festivals and other fun gatherings to rally our membership.
The Meeting of the Marques Motorshow (The 'MoM')
The Club inherited this long-running British motorshow in 2000, for many years held at the Allenberry Resort in Boiling Springs, PA. 'The MoM' has since evolved into an International festival to align with the SVVSCC Mission and broaden its impact upon our region.
The Hershey Vintage Hillclimb (HVH)
The SVVSCC ran this exhibition event from 2002 through 2008 as a recreation of the full-competition events held on this Hershey hillside from 1958 through 1970. By 1970 the Hershey Hillclimb was carding the largest hillclimbing entry field in the world, making it a significant East Coast motorsports destination. Although the Hotel Hershey construction brought the SVVSCC's HVH to a halt in 2008, many SVVSCC members returned to ‘The Hill’ to support "The Grand Ascent" which was run in conjunction with the Elegance at Hershey.
